Stop leaving money on the table!

You’ve put too much time, energy, and experience into your work to let someone else profit from it or claim it as their own. In this live virtual workshop, I’ll break down what copyright really is, what it actually protects, and how you can take simple, clear steps to protect your books, content, and creative projects. This session is designed for working professionals, writers, and creators who are serious about treating their creativity like the valuable asset it is. No legal degree required, and no talking over your head. Just plain language, real examples, and time for your questions. In this workshop, you’ll learn:
  • What copyright actually covers (and what it doesn’t)
  • When your work is protected automatically and when you need to register
  • How to avoid common mistakes that put your ownership at risk
  • The truth behind popular copyright myths that keep creators stuck
  • Simple steps to document, register, and protect your work going forward
This is for you if:
  • You write books, blogs, music, speeches, or social content
  • You create courses, programs, or digital products
  • You’ve hesitated to publish because you’re afraid someone will steal your ideas
  • You’ve heard conflicting advice about copyright and want a clear, trustworthy answer
You’ll walk away with clarity, confidence, and a practical next-step plan for protecting your work.
A replay will be available for a limited time for all who register.

Working with Dr. Rhonda Lawson on this project has been an awesome experience. She has the patience of Job in that she was willing to answer, even the same question, from the same author, ME, multiple times, until I got it right. She was honest in her critique of our work, and she validated our accomplishments as authors.
